The Founder’s Story
Shaveta Nayyar Dham’s efforts to focus on strengthening the life core concepts for the children is extraordinary.A consultant, educator and social entrepreneur, Shaveta has worked extremely hard to align real life skills to the academia. She focuses ona child’s role, learning style, and project matter that can aid in the planning and implementation of real life educational experiences. She believes that real life learning and execution is the highest understanding, energy and potentiality of a child’s growth.
Her book “Emotions In My Basket” released at (Oxford, Delhi and “Delhi Book Fair-2018) is based on “Emotional Intelligence”. She thinks it is extremely important to develop EQ as it refines the personality and helps in all walks of life.
She is experienced in Project-Based Learning, Life-Skill Programs and Social-Emotional Learning Development for children, adults and senior citizens.
In 2018, Shaveta has been solely responsible to start a new public speaking event for Delhi Schools. She organized the MLA’s Young ORATORS program for 25 schools in the DELHI constituency.
Recently, Shaveta N Dham has founded Non Profit Society-“SARGAM ZINDAGI KI” that aims to nurture emotional intelligence and emotional wellness in children. This program is exclusively for the schools only.
Her early years as an elearning specialist and trainer is clear in her work as an educator – she looks beyond to think and innovate. She keeps working on how we can change the mugging up scenario with understanding and application. Fighting the stereotype and even more recent information overload learning, Shaveta encourages children to take an insight into daily life learning with fun and curiosity. In Jan 2010, she founded Edudham, a concept for the children, by the children and of the children.
Based around Howard Gardner’s “Multiple Intelligences,” the learning design focuses on creating independent, responsible thinkers and future citizens.
Dham’s latest programs, are inspired by practical learning that will help children be more aware about the society and world around them. The programs are all about working together on real life situations. This eventually leads to children being more smarter to handle situations and questions in daily life. The Edudham Magazine Time as a part of the program is an extension of Shaveta’s belief and experience that children are a bundle of innovation.

M.A in English Literature with post-graduation in Planning and Project Management, Shaveta has worked with Diplomatic Mission and leading companies like India Today, 24×7 Learning and JA India, an NGO in educational domain as a consultant.
