Who are we?
Edudham is dedicated to provide hands-on experience to help young children learn through detailed concepts and applications.
Some programs are only for children (5-12 years) while other programs are for women, senior citizens and under-privileged.
Through age-appropriate curricula, Edudham programs begin at the elementary level teaching children through various means and multiple intelligences about non -academic subjects. This includes laughter lessons, creativity through role plays, theatre, clay modelling, dance, specific videos and documentaries etc.
In association and collaboration with various industries, Edudham shall provide an insight into different small scale industries (the entire process from initial stage till end product), opening their minds to the real world of learning and experience.
Edudham programs continue through middle and high schools preparing students for future work challenges helping them to be able and succeed in real life work experience.
Such educational initiative does not seek to be a replacement of regular academic curricula but structured programs to provide real perspective of life and work in relation to education.
Why are we here?
Because what we need today is to understand the process of arriving at the solution and not the solution as such. Lot of us use internet just to copy the information and send it with the child to the school. But how many of us have time to make it interesting for the child so that he can grasp the concept better?
We need to bring real life closer to our children with more experiments, applications and conceptual understanding developing their skills to meet today’s employment requirements. Mugging, and learning has been replaced by understanding and learning. Today, compared to all academic subjects, less emphasis is laid on moral education and developing civic sense amongst our young generation.
There is a dire need to equip children with practical knowledge and skills. Edudham wants to bring and raise our young children to the real world of experience and knowledge by creating programs based on experimentation, exploration, research and development.
